That is a significant saving for a set of four and $16 lower than the newly adjusted price for the smart Bluetooth tracker.
Why Buy the Apple AirTag 1 and Skip the 2?
The original AirTag (review) was launched in 2021 and has since been a staple miniature tracking accessory for iPhone users. Even with the arrival of the AirTag 2, the original model is still highly recommended because it offers the same core features at a much better value.
Inside is a UWB (ultra-wideband) chip for precision tracking, accurate down to the centimeter. You can use your iPhone or Apple Watch for guided navigation to find your items. It also supports audible ringing for nearby searching, and the volume level is consistently reliable.
The AirTag features IP67 dust and water resistance, and its coin-like form makes it easy to slip into bags. If you want to hook it to a pet’s collar or a strap, you will need a separate holder.
